Safely take mass-actions on your CRM

Kernel's platform allows you to carry out all of the mass actions needed for a clean CRM without the need for any third-party tools. It guides you through each stage of the actions in a user-friendly interface. The below provides further information about each of the mass actions - association of hierarchies, deleting of accounts, merging of duplicate accounts.

Requirements

Before you can use the Kernel platform to execute Kernel's recommended actions, you must have concluded the configuration of your business logic within the prior tabs in the platform. The actionable tabs will automatically unlock once configuration has been completed.

Note, when reviewing data, the user should reconfigure the logic as needed to ensure satisfaction with the logic application.

In addition, to use the Kernel platform, you must have the Kernel Salesforce package installed and the appropriate permissions provided, as below:

Associate

The association action allows the user to accurately link the corporate hierarchies of their accounts - the child account will be associated with the parent within their CRM. For further information, please see below:

Delete

The delete action pane allows the user to view the full list of accounts Kernel has recommended for deletion, alongside the reasoning behind the decision. It is vital that appropriate safeguarding factors have been considered, alongside sufficient deletion rules. For further information, please see below:

Note, deleting accounts is a destructive action, ensure you have appropriately reviewed the data.

Merge

The merge action pane allows the user to view the accounts that Kernel recommends for merging. Accounts here have been identified as duplicates within the CRM, and placed into respective duplicate groups to be merged into a master record.

It is important to consider appropriate survivorship rules are configured to ensure the correct data is moved to the master record in the process of actioning the data. For further information, please see below:

Note, merging accounts is a destructive action, ensure you have appropriately reviewed the data.
